Today is Elder Kennings 20th birthday!
I am sooooo excited. Harrison received our birthday package to him ON his birthday. That is crazy and awesome at the same time. :)
Here is his letter....two weeks in a row without a spiritual thought. I will have to remind him of this in next weeks email....
Hey Everybody!!
That is so crazy that you guys celebrated my birthday yesterday with a big
carrot cake. Yesterday we had zone conference, and our office meeting. So in
celebration for my birthday I also made a carrot cake for everybody. It was to
die for. Everybody loved it, and were fighting over the last piece. Including
President and Sister. I was pretty surprised myself that it turned out so well.
It wasn´t nearly as good as mom´s cake, but it came close, and it was good
enough feel as if I was at home again.
Last night I dreamed that I had just got home from the mission, and everyone was
really weird and strange. It was funny because I tried to joke around, but
everyone just looked at me weird. It´s funny that dad is dreaming that he was
serving a mission again. Mission life is the dream life.
I am getting used to the office now, it´s nice being able to help out president
and be the first person to know what´s going on. I can´t believe that it will
already be transfers next week. This means we are going to come here to the
office Saturday night to organize everything.
Well today has been a normal P-day. I deep cleaned my bathroom today which was
exciting. Then after I studied, and left for the office. Pretty soon we are
going to go road march 25th. Which is a bigger version of canal street.
Hey your package just got here two seconds ago, I haven´t opened any presents up
yet, but everyone is going crazy because I got two packages, one from you guys
and the other one from aunt pam. What a birthday present!
I really loved the pictures that you sent, why does Kimball like to use those
goggles? He is nuts. You guys need to take pictures of the jump so I can see it.
So what´s going on with this baptism of these two kids? Jake is going to baptize
this boy? That´s pretty cool, are their parents going to be baptized as well?
Well all I can say about my birthday is that I am really old. I never imagined
being 20.
I have been getting along with my companion just fine, he is sooo slow, but you
learn to deal with it. He has good intentions, but he is just awkward.
So you guys are getting carpet, and how are you going to work around the pool
table? Are you going to try hoisting it up?
Well I have to get going, just because it´s P-day doesn´t mean there isn´t
things to do here in the office. I have to run! Thank you so much for
