One more week of teenagership!

Hey Everybody,

How is everybody doing? Enjoying an awesomely cold winter? I can´t believe that
you guys went to cold stone. That is going to be one of the first things that I
will do when I get home. Ice cream exists down here, but it is really expensive.
Along with chocolate, and krackles. Sometimes it stinks being a missionary when
you can´t have ice cream on a really hot day. But I will be that much more
grateful for cold stone when I get back.

Holy cow time is flying by, it feels like yesterday it was Christmas, and it
feels like two days ago it was April 28th. Pretty soon I will have 1 year on the
mission and I will be an old missionary. I am trying to take advantage of every
day that I have, because I only have 1 mission. And one day I will be in Dad´s
place wanting to return back to the 82, or the glory days.

I am excited to hear that Parker got sealed in the temple, that’s awesome. I
will have to write him to congratulate him. Are they still living in the
basement? ;)

Nothing too interesting happened last week that would worry mom. Except that I
got caught in the middle of a huge rain storm. Here in São Paulo rain storms can
get really bad. Luckily I had my umbrella, but it started hailing. Then after my
umbrella broke because of the wind. It was pretty hilarious, everything got
sopping wet.

To tell you the truth mom, I have been hearing very little from everyone else
back home. I don´t know if you would be able to do this, but if you could, could
look for some of my friends address´? If you could find Katie Brochu, and Evan
Moreshead on facebook, that would be awesome.

So my companion as you already know is very slow. He is from the farm and does
everything very backwards. He is the spitting image of the son of Buford T.
Justice. Yesterday I was talking about Maine, and he asked if the soil was
fertile there. But he asked in the same tone as Napoleon Dynamite! I am learning
how to work with him better, it´s just the office is so fast paced that he gets
really lost, and really boggs everything down.

So I haven´t had a chance to go visit the guy in my last area. I didn’t baptize
him, but he was less active. For him it was as if he had started over with the
missionaries again. I am going to call him tonight, and if he needs me to come
down, President said I could.

Dad, tell John that I have had ``Hey there Delaya`` stuck in my head all week,
and that I have been thinking of him.

I love the pictures of the restaurant, I love the logo too. It´s awesome. And
everyone is getting used to it just fine?

So how come Jake is taking forever to get his Eagle done? And does Grant have
plans for a project?

Today for P-day, I played soccer with the Brazilians. They are so good, I got
totally skilled. It was pretty embarrassing. I even got a soccer ball to the
face, and my jaw is still hurting.

Well I have to go, thank you so much, I miss you all so much, and I love you
even more!!!

Love,
Elder Kenning
