Natal! Quase....

Opa bom dia minha família, como vocês estão!? This week has been nuts.. im still trying to get over the fact that in almost a week we have Christmas.. its usually a little bit easier to figure out that its Christmas over there in the states.. but here no.. because its so hot.. Ive never been so sweaty in my entire life.. just from walking around.. But all in all its been good I guess. IM learning things new everyday. Its been such a cool week. We worked so hard this past week. Despite the difficulty of the weather, we stil lworked really hard. Everyday it startes off sunny, then by 3 in the afternoon it gets super rainy.. like rivers in the road rainy. Half the time I dont even bring a umbrella because i dont have a lot of room to carry it with me. So by the end of the day, im just drenched.. its so dumb haha. In my brown shoes i have a huge holes in the bottom of them haha.. so if i get caught in the rain with them.. its all over.. feels like a walk in puddles inside my shoes haha. Its been fun though, no worry.


Anyway so at the beggining of each week, we set goas for the week and how we get accomplish those goals. This week we were able to accomplish just about all of them, which is pretty sick. We worked a bunch this week, teaching, finding,a nd preparing people for baptism. It was quite amzing. We found 12 new people this week, and ended up pmarking 8 dates with people.. but only half of them were able to come to church.. so 4 dates keep going and the rest fell.. but we´ll keep working with them to help them progress. Im not sure if i told you our goal for baptisms this month, but its 5 Baptisms with 2 of them being Men. We are on track with it right now.. with have two more men to be baptized the 27th, and another lady to be baptised this Saturday. Itll be such agreat accomplishment if we could be able to hit our goal. The mission standard of excellence is 4 and 1 man, but president is asking for every misisonary to baptise at least one haha.. seems like the mission is struggling a littl ebit in baptising. My District and our zone is number one and we are leading the mission right now, its pretty awesome. We are Zone Varginha!


Yesterday we had a Branch counsel, it was pretty amazing. We have really mad e a plan to work with the members this week, to bring back a lot of Lost sheep and to bring more unto the fold. Its such a marvelous work. Im loving it so much, although its pretty stressful, its such a blessing.


Mom, we are wearing the hats just about everyday.. but i havent taken any pictures yet.. but elder Case and I want to make a Christmas card with a nice picture so you guys can have it and post it on Facebook! We´ll make it this week, and get it to you guys next week. Next week we have a Christmas conference over there in Juiz De Fora, in Grajaú.. im pretty stoked to be able to visit Grajaú again.. i miss every area i passed, and the people. itll be awesome to be able to visit all the places again some day. Dad we´ll make it a priority for you to visit Brazil with Harry and I, and more important to visit England! We will do it, when i ge thome, I want to get right to work, and work super hard to be able to support my schooling, and to be able to save up to visit my mission with you guys, and yours dad. Ive been really thinking about it a lot lately, abou tyour mission in England I talk to a lot of people down here abou tit, and they love hearing about it.


My companion elder Case and I are doing great, we are working super hard. We have made Covenants with the Lord here, actually a lot of them, (things we will sacrifice and do, and then if we do them the Lord will bless us with something. One of these convenants we made was we cant talk in english at all.. for this whole week. Its been tough because sometimes he cant get his point across, or he gets frustrated, but i know itll help him out a ton. Its already showing, he is an awesome misisoanry, who will lead a ton of missionaries here in the field. Im pretty prideful of my "son" over here. He is doing ten times better then I ever did when i first got here in the mission. He is a really smart guy, we are having a great time together, and having that right balance of work and fun.. something a learned from you dad :) "Its all abou ttiming." I tell it to everyone, and its really helping us out. Thanks so much.


Skype on Christmas.. im not too sure about.. ill be able to tell you next p-day exactly what we will do, probably will be during the afternoon, at nightish. We have p-day tuesday next week, and Christmas conference monday. Ill keep you guy supdated them! Love you guys so much, im so grateful for the example in which you guys are to me, im the luckiest elder and son, and brother.. yes.. im grateful for my brothers too :) hahaha. Love you guys! I hope you all w\atch this video.. we are working super hard as a church ot help people come unto to Christ through this website. It sso amazing, check it out! So grateful for Christ and his sacrifice, the title "He is the Gift." makes me think so much, really powerful. The fact that he Gave his life for us, so that we can be happy in this life, and one day to return to his precence is incredible. Im truely in debt of our Father in Heaven, and Jesus Christ. Let us all find a way to show our love to God, lets serve our friends and family! Share this gospel, ask the missionaries there to give you some `he is the gift`cards, and show your freinds! I know the church is true, no doubt in my mind, I love serving the Savior I dont want to give it up ever, i know I never will too. I love this gospel, the Book of Mormon is true, Jospeh Smith was a Profet of God and today we have to only TRUE Church of Christ, how blessed are we? Incredibly.
