Feliz Natal!

Merry Christmas Everybody! Hows everyone doing over there! Sounds like you guys will be having a fun Christmas over there. Jake you are the biggest chump haha.. kimball também. I cant believe kimball would send you that message.. haha i laughed my head off.. because i can just picture in my mind this stupid voice saying that phrase. Oh your photos are pretty funny, i like them. They gave me a good laugh.. Sounds liek being a cook and a pest killer is working out for yah haha free food, and another talent to kill bugs! Thats pretty sick, keep at it bro. Mom, Dad, and Kimball you guys have anything special planned for this Christmas! Im pretty pumped to be able to skype with you guys thursday, its going to be pretty awesome. Ill be able to skype around 3 or 4 my time.. im not sure the time difference. So get ready :) You guys will have to tel lme all about what sgoing on over therre during slype, im pretty anxious.


So this past week has been wild and pretty sick haha. Last week we had a baptism of a lady named Jacke, she is the sister of a member here in the Ward. We've been teaching her these past few weeks, she got Baptised Friday night, and was Confirmed Sunday morning. Its pretty awesome, Baptisms here in the mission now have beeing coming along quite well lately, its been great. We´ll be baptising another man this week on Saturday. His name is Odair, he is super elect. He´s come to church already twice, he´s willing to live everything we teach him, he already refers to our church as his church.. We brought him to our last baptism friday, I showed him the baptismal font and I said "this is where you will be next saturday.." he responded "Amen." Then i showed him how he will be baptised. He´s so awesome, he has 40 years. At church sunday during gospel essentials i got up to give a brief exsplanation about a doctrinal topic, and he came up with me, and I said well Odair do you have anything else to say? then he goes off on how he´ll be joining to church and becoming a member next saturday and everything. it was so unreal. Im pretty pumped for the baptism. Our teaching pool here is massive.. its growing everyday. we are lining up a ton of Baptisms. Our goal is to baptise once each week by the least. We´ll see how it goes. We are working a ton with members right now, its our big focus, and its really paying off.


We had an activity Saturday night at the church.. it was like the white elephant game, but not at the same time.. we all drew names and we had a week to buy something for that person.. so I got elder Douglas haha another missionary from Brazil. I couldnt think of anything to get him it was super hard.. so i found a game called the "the game of life" like a card game.. so it already started off lame, then i found a junky plundger in a store so i bought one of those for him.. it was the funniest thing ever. I put it in a huge book of mormon box we get from the office.. and i threw a ton of plastic bags inside.. so in front of all the young single adults he opened up the box and pulled out a plundger in front of everyone.. haha everyone was laughing there head off! It was pretty genius. I ended up getting a Cruzeiro wallet.. cruzeiro is a soccer team thats huge down here.


Sunday was pretty great, we had a huge lunch with one of the members then we began our journey to Juiz de Fora that night. We slept at Varginha, then we ended up leaving there 4 in the morning for Juiz de Fora and getting there around 10. We had aChristmas Conference. It was pretty sick, i was able to see all my old Companions and others, it was held in Grajaú my first area. So it was pretty awesome. So that was yesterday, I got back to Alfenas this morning. And now im here haha.


So thats really what happened.. ill tel you guys more about it thursday! Should be great. I hope you guys have a great Christmas Morning, i hope you all hold the tradition of waking up at 6:30 to open gifts.. i know ill be doing it.. oh.. and i guess i have to im a missioanry haha.
