So ive had a son before you Harry and Kendra haha
olá friends! Hows it going over there, sounds like you guys had a thanksgiving over there?! Thats crazy, How was Mocking Jay? Bet it was unreal! Thats okay, you guiys will have to show me after the mission how it was. Did you guys have a nice turkey feast or anything like that? I didnt hear anything about that! I would lik eto see a picture haha, see some american food for once haha. ...Its been a while. So yeah, this past week has been really hectic. Monday night a started my journey to the office in Juiz de Fora to get my new SON! Im an oficial dad here in the mission. Its pretty awesome, ive been waiting for this day for a long time. His name is Elder Case, he is from Phoenix Arizona. He is 6 foot 4.. super tall.. im like a midget next to him haha. Its quite hillarious. I got him wednesday afternoon, after I had some training with President. It was a pretty awesome experience, we got in the office with all the new guys and president brought us to his office and opened up his huge board with all the misisonaries and told us to go find our companions. I found Elder Case, and we gave each other the biggest hugs haha it was pretty awesome. Later that day, we started traveling back to Alfenas. We stayed in Varginha again, and went home the next day.. So all in all it was 4 days of traveling. Wow, that was nuts. We got home and went right to work, put the new guy to work. But the good thing is that he loves to work too. The only thing is that i keep forgetting he is new, like literally is leanring how to live the misisonary life, and the language. Its been awesome though, my mouth has been getting really tired lately, beecause im doing most of the talking for us haha.
Its pretty awesome, this week we really worked hard with the members, which they ended up giving us references! Which is PERFECT! The only way to work, even the Branch President gave us a reference, it was a guy who he has been waiting for a whole year to give to the missionaries, the guy is awesome. 33 degree in the macenary(i dont know how to spell that) and is kinda budhist too haha. But he is aweome, we marked a date for him. We found another family that was pretty amazing, we will keep working with them this week too.
So last week, we baptized two people! It was pretty awesome, Elder Case and I baptized them Friday
evening. It was so perfect to baptized and get into the water. Its the best feeling ever. Seeing my companion baptize for the first time in his life was pretty awesome, cant believe he baptized his first week in the mission haha took me a little bit longer than that... There names are Shayany and Julia.
So thanksgiving was pretty good, a great day of work. We did a ton of things that day. When we got home, we tried to make a barbeque chicken pizza.. because it was cheap.. but turned out to be the worst pizza ive ever eaten in my life.. Seriously the barbeque sauce here is a joke.. and i didnt buy enough cheese so it was just relaly salted sauce with chicken put onto a piece of carboard haha. So we lost our little grill thing inside the oven so we couldnt cook it.. so i took the burners on top and cooked it above the burners on the oven.. like roasting a pizza over the camp fire type of deal.. it turned out to be terrible! Whatever. it was a memorable thanksgiving. I remember last year with all the egg rolls.. dang id die for those. Then later that day we were outside the church and some random girl comes riding up on her bike and sits down and just starts puking everywhere.. wow, it was pretty scarey she looked pale and with really sick. So we called the ambulance and when we did that she just passed out and fell to the ground. We were just rushing around and ended up putting her inside the church to wait for the ambulance.. pretty messed up. So that was my Thanksgiving..! Foi bom!
So my week was like that, pretty interesting. Tonight, i have to go all the way back ot Juiz De Fora... AGAIN. My companion needs to go to the police federal. So we´ll be doing 8 hours of travleing there, and back in the same day.. should be great haha. Then we have zone conference in Varginha againWednesday. Yikes. But anyways, I hope you all have a wonderful week! Loves you guys tons! Ate mais! Eu não posso esperar ate Natal, para falar com vocês! Vai ser show!

Ive been pondering a lot about this section here lately to really help my investigators more in repsect to the Word of Wisdom. I was reading a I loved this part "walking in Obedience to the Commandments.." and you shall recieve
-Health
-Wisdom
-Treasures of KNowledge
-And strength to endure to the end.
I know that is true, we need to live the word of Wisdom to keep our temples clean here on the earth, by eating healthy, exercising, and keeping away from bad things. Thats being obediente to the commandment of the Word of Wisdom, but the verse talks about "commandments" let us be obediant to ALL commandments here on the earth, and we will recieve these blessing and more!
