good morning everyone, how is everyone doing. Happy Birthday Jake! I think its this week right? well çlike they say in get smart "happy birthday smarts" as they push a cake through the prison door.. haha Hope its as good as youd like it to be you! Sorry I am writing you guys earlier than normal but thats because our p-day is all wacky today with the world cup. Every day has been crazy because of that haha, everysingle person mistakes me for a german, and calls me over to tell me how much they will loose in the world cup.. im like whatever im american haha say what you want.. one time we were walking down the street and some drunk german guy here stops in front of us and yells.. "oiii my german brothers!" to me and elder Libby. He was completely wasted.. like could barely walk without stumbling. He gets in front of us and hugs us for at least 1 minute saying how excited he was to see other germans.. By the time we finally got out of there he had given me three hugs.. literally osuper strange. I finally cut him off and say we need to go for other reasons. I dont get it! Im not a german! It stinks if Germany or America win the world cup elder Libby and I need to stay in the house for a couple days because people will literally kill us haha Its going to stink. U.S. is oding pretty good tied portugal yesterday and beat ganha first game. Brazil has the same stats, but they play someone tonight at 5.. president finalçly authorized all missionaries that they can watch the brazilian game at a members home, that is what we will be doing tonight at 5!!! So excited. Anyway.

This week was pretty good though, got a lot accomplished felt like I worked my butt off. My feet are just shredded from walking so much, and running to appointments. P-day we played soccer so afterwards my legs were like jello, and the next few days after were incredibly hard to climb the hills and stairs that we do everyday. We´ve been really hitting it hard with members this week, working with members is the best way to do the work right. That was a huge focus for us, and reaped the benefits from it too. By the end of Saturday we had 6 people on date, but by the end of sunday only have 2.. because they didnt attend church.. sundays are always make or break for baptisms. It was pretty disappointing to be honest because sundays we wake up at 5:30 to walk to all of our investigators houses on the other side of our area in linhares. Its like putting together a puzzle.. because you have all these people that live in different places that dont have cars to get to church. And our area is no where near the church which stinks too. So we need to call members and arrange times and where they need to be for each person, or arrange times for them to take the bus. Its a lot of work to get a person to church here haha. plus the ZL´s asked us to meet with the people right before church to see if everything is good, its really difficult thats for sure to meet with all of our people who want to go to church. So a good portion of people backed out last minutes, probably end up cutting them and finding more people.

We are working hard here, its been somewhat difficult on my companion this area, Because I just want to work, work, work and more work. At times its hard for him to keep up, or stay focused on the work. Its been good for both of us though, we came up with this dance whenever we put someone on date we go home that night play inside out book of mormon stories techno version and do our dance.. its actually super hillarious. Wish you guys could see it, ill have to show oyou when I get home! Honestly think you guys would laugh your heads off.

The language here is going rather well! Im having full converations with people and not skipping a beat, it clicked with me last night that im actually getting the language more than I thought because last bnight at a investigators home, I just went on and had a full 30 min conversation with them inPortuguese! Whenver that happens I always walk out of the house and say to myself "what just happened" Its so crazy! Im starting to think in Portuguese too, here and there ill catch myself thinking in portuguese too. Its super weird.. I didnt have any crazy food this week, just the usual rice and beans and skin chips! No for real we had some good food this week, i was pleased haha.

Oh, Lastly the worst thing happened to me this week too.. in my life. Dont worry mom.. im okay. You might not want to read the rest... I was getting a haircut, usually I ask for a four because whenever I didnt that in the united states it was perfect length but apparently here its a little different.. I ask for a four and he says alright I can do that, im sitting there and he starts with the very top part of my head.. when I look in the mirror I have this huge line down my head.. IT freaken cut so much off of my head. Literally only had about maybe 1 CM 1/2 left. There was nothing I could do about it so he had to cut everything off the same length. I pretty much have a buzz cut.. first time in15 years. I hate it so much, i didnt take any pictures this week.. so sorry folks.. probably wont receive any for a while too... Literally the worst thing in my entire life. Look like a dummy! I hate it.. im begining to embrace it because there is nothing I can do about it. Its fine, because I dont need to look good for anyone anyway haha but still it stinks! Pray for my hair to grow back faster..

Well thats all that really happened this week.. Hope you guys had a exciting week too! Cant wait to hear from you guys, love you!
