Its Elder Kenning here, (California accent)
California has been great, We are still working hard.
This past week since Tuesday till Saturday I was really sick. Tuesday morning my Face really hurt and throughout the day and wednesday also and I ended up with a sinus infection, which has given me a constant headache then thursday was the worse, I got a bad cold along with the pain in my head and my and comp still was working as hard as we can, Because I don't want to sleep or nap because i feel like i'm being lazy and I want to work and not miss a chance. But on Thursday I ended up taking a thirty minute rest, in the car parked on a curb, because I needed it. But I also tried to stay away from people to not get them ill. It was really painful and it was hard for me to talk because my jaw was sore also (not from eating a thousand bowls of cereal). But we ended up only with 12 lessons for the week and a new investigator.
Other than me being sick, we had a good week. The scriptures are becoming a really big asset in our teaching and it so neat to see how powerful the scriptures are.
In the morning I would do my personal study. I will read for thirty minutes and for the next thirty minutes I would study Topically like, faith, premortal life, atonement, and other more percise topics that are helpful in despelling false doctrine against the church. There is a lot going on down here in California, some things that are heated are govenor Romney and this new thing about Church and the Hollacost (I know that's spelled incorrectly). So many people try to attack the church and even other churches and if the find a mistake they fester it till it becomes big. And it doesn't make sense that people would do this, when they go to their church and learn to be like Christ and Christ is the perfect example of love. World has gone crazy haha.
Happy Birthday Grant! (the slice) You're going to love my gift I sent ya, ya knucklehead. It's perfect for School, Snacks, Football games, BREAKFAST, lunch and even dinner and for good measure, its good for fashion. and what not.
And mom you wanted me to ask you for a list? well the stuff that I would like you to send me is... Rugby jersey, Rugby boots(yellow pumas), My SD card(the 12gb, cleaned up for me to use), Multi-vitamins, Check my Keybank accout and put some money on it (for incedentals), and I think thats the bulk of it, and don't forget to send your love in it too. thanks mom, I love you.

Mormon 8:12
"And whoso receveth this record (the Book of Mormon), and shall not condemn it because of the imperfections which are in it, the same shall know of greater things than these. Behold, I am Moroni; and were it possible, I would make all things know unto you."
If we are reading the book of mormon to find its mistakes and try to prove it wrong we will end up not being able to receive enlightenment from the Holy Spirit and will not learn. But When we read to learn, we shall gain a divine witness from the Holy Spirit and know by the same power that Jesus Christ is the Savior of the world. The Book of Mormon Does just this, I know it and have witnessed myself the power of the scriptures and especially the truth of the Book of Mormon. We don't need any evidence or a sign to know, we know by the spirit with out seeing any evidence, something like that is called Faith, if you don't know what faith is read page 289 in the Book of Mormon. And In the name of our Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen

p.s. I havnt received a letter in two weeks. my mail box is getting lonely.
