Our family will produce four missionaries.....
So today's email has been edited for some personal content. I hope you understand. Also, in my letter to Harry this morning, I wrote how I had a dream about when he came home from his mission. It is crazy because he had the same dream last night too. Awww... I miss my Harry.
Here is his letter:
Hey Everybody!!!
How is everyone doing out there?
Congratulations Jake!!! I am very proud of you that you earned your
Eagle Scout!!! Isn´t it great? Now Dad will have to put your name on
the plaque. I saw the picture and I can´t beleieve how many badges you
have earned. Your shirt was full of badges. Holy Cow of the East! It
may seem like nothing now, but on the mission and in a lot of
situations I have had to use a lot of principles that I learned being
a Scout. Not just learning how to tie knowts, or staqrt a fire, but
how to work hard, and for the right reasons. Always remember and
treasure the things you learned in Scouting Jake!!!!
Don´t worry Dad, everything will be taken care of in our family. Our family will
produce four missionaries, and the blessing will be many. They
probably won´t be physical, but we will know for a surety that when
Christ comes we will be ready to go up and meet him. Surely there will
be better days, that will be better for ever. I can´t wait until that
day.
AS far as school. I haven´t really been thinking to much about it. I
have bee nthinking that I problably worry about it when I get home. I
was even thinking takeing the SATs again, to see if I can get a better
score. BEfore I get back to school I need to study a lot more. I don´t
want to get home, and then go right out to school not knowing
anything. I think I will try to go out in the fall. That way it will
give me time to work and save up some money. I probably should start
to think of what I want to do in school. Who knows.... What do you
guys think?
How is everyone doing in school right now? Grant how are the ladies?
Our mission has been going through some rough times as well. Out of
know where all of our baptisms of the mission have been falling
through. We have trying our best to hold it all down here in our zone,
and get all the missionaries excited. It is a really tough thing to
do. But we have been holding it down pretty well. If everything goes
well this week, me and my comp will baptize 5 people. I sure hope so.
We need to have our success so that it doesn´t burden down the zone,
and so that we can show a good example to our missionaries. A mission
leader is a tough tihing to do. But the Lord trusts in us, and we can
do anything because of it!!!!
I lvoe you guys so much!!!! Just think less than six months until I
get home...... There is a lot of things to do here, and times does not
want to stop or slow down. Its funny last night I dreamed that I was
getting home, and was chit chatting with mom.
I know that the times are tough. But let´s not lose hope! The Lord is
preparing a better place for our family!!! I remember the scripture
found in Doctrine in Convenants 31. I know the promises found in this
scripture will happen to our family!
I love you guys! You are the best family to any missionary. I can feel
the strength of your prayers! I hope you can feel the strength that
ask for you guys!
Love,
