Email chat today!

Today was unusual, not only did Harry send an email on a Monday, I actually caught him online so I could email chat with him for a few minutes. I love that when that happens. Made my day.

I'll share the originial email....

Hey everybody!!!

Yes, I know today is Monday, my p-day was temporairly switched to today instead of tomorrow. Tomorrow I will be a having a big zone conference with everyone, so I won´t have time to write.

Anyways.... I am loving the mission, my area, and my companion. My companion is so awesome, we will be going home together, and he has been teaching me so much on how to improve my missionary and bow staff skills. We have been going crazy down here, just tearing it up every where we go. We have gone so crazy that we are marking baptismal dates with people on our first visit. We teach the restoration, invite them to pray about it, and when they receive an answer we tell them that they need to baptized. And we mark a date. And all the investigators has been accepting this crazy technique. I just hope that the Lord helps us to follow up with all of them so that they can be baptized.

Nothing to crazy has happened this week. Just the same old elbow grease work saving the world work. This Saturday we will be having a special party at the chapel. It´s a famous festival here in Brasil, where everyone dresses up like rednecks and bring redneck food. There is square dancing, farm food, and all sorts of good stuff. And this week we will have this party at our ward, everyone is really excited and will bring a lot of friends. As missionaries we are going to set up a table and put examples of presents that the visitors can receive. We will have an example of the book of mormon, some dvds, and pamphlets. So a visitor will come up to us and say, oh we would like to receive this at home. Then we will write down their address and deliver it to them another day along with a message of the Restoration.

So how is everyone doing down there? If anyone is home right now I will still be on the computer for the next 10 to 15 minutes if anyone wants to write something real quick. I love you all so much! Be Good!!!

Love,

Elder Harry Kenning
