".....Everything is in Portugeuse, the Devotionals, Firesides, and classes. In the big meetings they will have a translator. I have a devotional every Tuesday, and a Fireside every Sunday night. I am learning Portugeuse so fast it is crazy! I can already pray, testify, and street contact in Portugeuse. It is very rudimentary but I can do it. It is amazing how the Spirit guides and teaches....
...Today we are going to walk around the city. You have to be extra careful because pedestrians have no legal rights when it comes to cars.
The church has gone into ultra fiscal jack hammer mode. They have cut the CTM's budget 20% so yesterday they shut off the air conditioners here. All the lights are on sensors or timers. It is actually really funny.
I am not sure what scripture I should choose for my plaque. I was thinking 1 Nephi 2:13. "And my father dwelt in a tent." Just Kidding! I would like D & C 84:87-88. I really like that scripture because I can see it happening in my life right now."
