The Baptismal fast broken here in Viçosa.

bom dia minha família foi muito bom para receber as cartas de vocês hoje! How was the week, was it pretty amazing. Looks like you guys have snow over there! Looks amazing.. i cant wait to see it when I get home. I know when I get home i will die because of it, but still should be cool. Im dying of the heat over here. I pass fps 60 and i still get burnt.. Its times like these that i wish i was a little bit darker haha. Sounds likes you all are doing very well! Kimball stop being a fashion maniac.. when you go camping its all about comfort my friend I know you love the ladies but still. Hows the ladies Kimball? haha hated that question when I was younger.. remember that home teacher we had in utah who would always ask me that? Thout it was funny. Dad when you said that about your job, got me thinking.. huh i feel the same way over here.. My district is pretty inmatture.. wish I could fire some of them.. but thats impossible.. not my responsibility. I have the biggest district in the mission and yeah.. what could i say more.. its not important. We had interviews last week and mine was really really good. Presidnt was really pleased with me and my work over here and told me that he recieed special revelation to put me over here to clean this area up and get it up and running again. Its been quite the challenge, feel like i breka my head doing this work.. Go to bed with a head ache wake up with a head ache haha, its pretty fun. But the good thing is that we are having results, good results here in Viçosa. It sbeen pretty awesome actually. So we had a baptism here last week on Friday. Its been about 8 months since a baptism was dropped in this area. So we brought the fire back in the area, it actually was awesome. That same night we had that activity, everyone brought some type of noodle and everyone voted on which thing was the best and the winner won a picture of Christ. It was really neat. We had that, then after we went down and had our baptism, then after the baptism we had everyone go into a room where we set up a projector and we watch a small film on John tanner and his story. It was so amazing, it was litterally perfect. we had almost 40 people there which is more then the attendance at church! Everyone enjoyed it, had fun, got full from the food and even watched a baptism which some of them never have seen. It was amazing, really speciual. Really made me happy that our efforts were well spent.


That same saturday we had another activity for the young men, where we set up ping pong tables and bought ice cream and they just socialized and we watched a small clip from the church about staying within the lines in sports and in our life. It went really well. Brought some baptismal prospects. That was our intent. Lot of fun. It was really hard to work this week becaus eof all the things we did, we traveled for interviews, and had these two big activities where we did literally everything to set up. But it was a good week. We have two firm baptisms coming up, literally one of the most elect people ive seeen. He has gone in everything we have invited, helps us clean the chapel everything. His name is Antonio. He is amazing. The Lord is blessing me so much here with my investigatores, this place is filled with elects. Ill defintely be reaping the blessing of obedience and diligence with these investigatores. Im really happy at the progress here.


The branch is coming along here slowly but surely haha the attendance is at a 38 average, so its climbing little by little. My companion said when he got here the attendance was 21.. dang. There is always a counselor to president Cascardi here every week.. to handle some problems.. its intersting.


So this week on sunday i will travel, we will be having District Conference, it will be a hotsoric conference because the Distrcit Leopoldino will be created! Right now the mission is running this area, so itll be a littl ebit more oficail next week. So we will have to travel down there, ts really far away like 3 hours away driving in a car. SHould be great. Im really excited to see how it will go,


Yeah so this week we will be doing a lot of traveling, tomorrow i will do a division with some of my missionaries in Ponte Novo to sort some things out and to help them a little bit more. We will be having district meeting over there too, will be my first district meeting as a district eader. Shouldbe awesome, I have a good idea as to what I will speak about. All in all the work is coming along super well, we are moving mountains over here by our faith and works. Thanks for all you rsupport. I love you guys so much, always pray for you guys.
