Feeding monkeys from my bedroom!

heeeey yall, whats up! Hey kimball are you still the Junior officer? hahaha. What a week eh? sounds like the week for you guys was pretty awesome, mom that experience sounds really cool, i bet its awesome to be able to work with people in need like that. I would like to do saomething like that too. Dad, more and more I hear about the trampoline park over there I get pretty jealous haha, i bet its so unreal. Hows it going with harry and Kendra? Tá vivo harry? Ou voce é doente na cabeça ainda? Seu jão! (não sei se voce lembra aquela frase de São Paulo..) Anyway, This past week for me was quite the week, with a lot of ups, and some downs here and there like a crazy roller coaster haha. It started off really well, lot of fun, found a bunch of people, taught a lot of lessons and everything. We had a date for this sundaypassado. We were planning on helping her the whole week, to give her as much of a chance to be prepared. The whole week, we werent able to find her, its was getting ridiculous. We kept trying everyday, but not finding. Until friday night.. we found her she was really distressed and gone crazy.. we sat down with her taught her a lesson that was incredible, and she felt the spirit so strong as we did too. We told her that she could be baptized sunday, shes been really looking for a church to stay and grow. She was at church before and loved it. She says to us well I know God wants me there, i need to be there. After that my mouth dropped, and we marked a interview date for her for saturday and her baptism on sunday. It was the biggest miracle id ever seen i nthe mission. I left that night on top of the world. Such a good feeling. The next day we go there in the morning. She wasnt there.. alright whatever, we went after lunch she wasnt there.. we had until 5 to find her and make sure she is set for the interview.. we looked everywhere for her. We checked the hosptial, universal church, the center the whole city of Barra for 5 hours.. and we didnt find her. Holy smokes super stressful 5 hours.. we had to call the interview off and the baptism for obvious reasons. But yesterday we found her in her house.. and we talked with her for a long time and she wants to be baptised this sunday, she was just really sicksaturday and sunday.. so things got better with that.

Yesterday in church was awesome, it was branch conference! We had an investigator in church we found this week his name is Diogo, he is elect. His parents are pushing for him to get a church and to be baptized.. like in any church they said haha. So we came along in the timing of the Lord and we are teaching this guy, he loved church, we had marked his date for batism the ninth of november. After church he came to me and said "Elder, i feel like im prepared, can i be baptised next sunday?" I said "Diogo! Well of course!" dang, it was pretty awesome. We´ll be seeing those two everyday this week. Everything will go by so smooth with them this week. I cant wait.
Wednesday, elder Ayer and I went to a english school called Wizard, where we sat in a class and talked with a ton of students about english and then when we left we asked if we could go by and teach them about the gospel, we had recieved a bunch of references that way, was pretty cool.

Kimball you would like this, on thursday I was studying at my desk, i sit in front of a window looking to a fruit tree. called pitamba. I look and there are three monkeys with little kids on there back eating the fruit, i grabbed a banana and I fed them from my window! It was pretty cool, i put a banana in on my desk and left the window open and walked a little bit off, after a while two monkeys jumped from the tree into my room and started eating the banana on my desk haha. It was pretty cool. Yesterday looked like we had a tropical storm.. it started raining like crazy, i never saw it rain so much in my life..literally every road had about 4 inches of water, and it was like rivers going through the road. We got caught right in the middle of it too.. we had a thirty minute walk in the poring rain.. it was super crazy.

Well I guess thats about it for this week, tomorrow ill be doing a ton of training. Ill be going to Petropolis for Zone Conference. Which is another city far away. Should be awesome!

Well I hope you all are doing well, love you guys so much! Good Luck!

Love, Elder Kenning
