bom dia..
dang.. what a week! Whats up fam fam! Wow, mom you got yourself a ride! a CRV too! haha thats pretty cool. Sounds like you guys are doing well though, thats always great. This week was crazy, felt long and really fast at the same time...
On tuesday i got my new companion at 11 at night at the bus stop. His name is ELder Ayer, he said his bnrother knows harry at college..? But he is from Gilford NH. He is super funny. the kids awesome. Working with him has been quite the adventure, especially with two americans walking around together and teaching people. Its been great, weve had a ton of attention, which has helped us get into a lot of houses to teach. Its been really really fun. Elder Ayer served in West Virginia too, when I got my visa he got his too at the same time haha. The only difference is he went to são paulo and i didnt.. and now we are together in the same area! Its been great!
Yesterday in church we were able to confirm our investigator as a member of the church! It was awesome, he has never been so strong as he is now, he is just growing in his testimony. He has so much potential. Its amazing to see. We almost baptised anothr family yesterday, but i guess they werent ready. They have a testimony about the book of mormon, Jospeh Smith, Christs church is here on the earth everything! But they just dont want to change churches.. it was difficult, but we ended up dropping them as investigators until they want to follow the saviors example. We have a couple cool investigators we are teaching right now.
The weather here has been really really hot.. holy smokes. Yesterday I just about died. Yesterday was about 100 degrees. but the humiddity was worse. Its just dead heat here. I was on the bus thinking id get away from the heat with the wind in the window.. it made it worse. the wind hurt it was so hot haha. Its been really really uncomfortably hot here. Im sweating 24/7.. sleeping is rough sometimes.. because our fan is broken. When you take a shower here, i take a cold shower and its super nice, but when you dry off with in 5 minutes your covered in sweat again.. its miserable haha and we still havent hit summer summer here yet. Im pretty sure im going to die! Well thats about it.. i guess. Nothing more special. I hope you all have a good week. Good luck! Love you guys!
