Transferred to Barra do Piraí
bom dia minha familia! wow, those photos are pretty sick over there. Sounds like bamboo is the new thing? haha pretty nuts. That chair looks like a throne like you said, I wouldnt mind that. Kimball is that a cup? or just a piece of bamboo? :) Jake where did you buy that ukulele?! Guitar center? haha just kidding! Looks really good man, thats pretty awesome. Im proud of you my friend. Ill be honest that picture of kimball falling is priceless! I havent laughed liked that for a long time, thats AFV material :) Kimball you are a super star. glad you guys are having a blast over there! Keep enjoying each others company! Family is the best thing!
So you guys are right today is transfers. We are supposed to know about what will happen this week, but I have yet to hear what is happening to me this week. I think Ill stay again.. to make 6 months in this area. Im banking on staying this transfer again with my companion, but you never know. Guess we'll see! This transfer a lot of things are happening in the mission, tons of missionaries are coming in, and lots of areas are being opened. My mission is actually pretty massive.. there is two zones here in juiz de fora. The juiz de fora zone and mine the manchester zone. Those two zones are tiny then there are 6 other zones, and there are pretty gigantic. Its a little bit smaller then west virginia mission but not b much. I guess it seems huge because you need to travel by bus to get to other locations which usually is a long ride. Im hoping for my next area to be able to go into Rio, I heard its pretty legit down there, we have 3 zones in the state of Rio and the rest are in Minas. Its pretty cool. We'll see what happenes,
So this week was pretty amazing in the beginning and was rough during the end.. so we had three people on for dates saturday and sunday. two of them fell thursday night because of smoking and the other because they just thought it was too early.. so they will happen a little bit later. We had another girl who is 17 years old, She's a champ. Shes elect. She came to a service project with us this week, family night, a baptism, aand is reading praying, and living the commandments! I know what you are thinking, "wow this person is amazing!" I know me too. Friday comes around we bring the baptism paper to her to fill out we do it all together with ease. We leave, im on top of the world! 10:15comes around rigt before we go to bed.. she sent a text message to us saying how she bleieves everything we taught her! But she doesnt want to be baptized right now.. Que Droga! I dropped the phone and and walked into my room and went to bed.. its rough but I guess i did my part to help her. this week well get them!
okay.. so while im writing you guys right now.. i just got a call from the assistents saying ive been transfered! Im going to Volta Redonda in Rio! My companion is elder Weverton I think is Brazilian.. I leave tomorrow at 3 and get there at 7 at night... DANG! Im getting sad to be honest, but im pretty excited. I heard its super super hot down there.. and of course ill be down there in summer.. ill die! Ill be black by the end of this transfer haha.. man i dont know what to think.. crazy.. We'll see what happens! You will need to wish me luck this week getting to know everyone and the area.. its going to be nuts.. im pretty phyced so many things are going through my mind haha. Dang well I guess thats all the news I have for you guys this week.. im sure ill have a ton for you guys next week! Love you guys! Keep up the hard work! Let me know if you need anything!
