good morning

Good morning!! Happy Birthday mom and dad!! Can´t believe its dads birthday tomorrow and moms saturday! Sounds like you guys will have a good week huh with all these birthdays! Hope you guys have a good week, with lots of celebrating! hows it going with you guys? Harry and Kendra up at the ranch right now? thats nuts.. im pretty jealous haha sounds like that will be a ton of fun. Kimball is at Scout Camp too? Man.. i miss camping a lot. I want to go so badly.. Kimball enjoy it! Fun stuff.


Well this week has been pretty interesting! I got my new companion Elder Batista on tuesday. He's pretty cool, he is from mata something something i dont know how to spell it. Its in the middle of the country. He has 1 year in the mission right now, he's 21 too. He's definitely different then all my other companions haha, he is super serious.. I try to crack jokes with him, but it doesnt phase him haha. Its a work in progress. He likes to sleep on the rock hard tile floor, he's prettty interesting. He's not very talketive either so I have to start up every lesson and get things going for us. He is a hard worker though, thats all that matters. We've been ripping it up here in Grajaú. We've put 6 people on date this week. Im going to work hard to keep those dates true, im tired of having them fall through.. Its been cool though. Yesterday night we met with our ward mission leader, we did a lot of changes. The way the areas here are layed out is pretty wacky. We have two areas here in Grajaú, one is the city and close to the church and the other is not even close to the church and out in the booneys. Mine is the one in the middle of nowhere. We did a little change to the divisions. Where my area will be more closer to the church So I can get my investigators to church! Thats been such a struggle, getting people to church because its so far away. This week Ill be closing down linhares and Bom Jardim because they are so far away and opening up the new part. Im pretty excited. It needs to happen to have success. Its going to be awesome! All of our dates are in Linhares, so ill baptize them and close that area down haha.


We've founded some elects this week, its been awesome. We found a guy named Rodrigo. He actually found us haha. He's gone through so much though, he's in his 20 and has done a lot of dumb things and wants to change. We taught him the Restoration and marked his date with him. The guy is a miracle, his desire to change is so profound. Its incredible to be a part of it too. We would be teaching him and hed be going crazy in his seat because of how much he wanted to know more. I ended the lesson, and asked "Rodrigo, what have you leanred from us today?" he replied "this is the True church of Jesus Christ, finally I know." I just got the shivers when I heard that. I was teaching him how to pray and he just started crying in the middle of it. The Spirit was so strong. The guy is amazing!!


We have another guy whos name is Thiago, he's pretty awesome. He's in his 20 also. His desire to find the true church of Jesus Christ is incredible. Sitting there in his house, talking to him about the gospel was awesome. We gave him the Book of Mormon and told him hed know these things are true through reading, praying and going to church. He's been reading! Its been amazing, he said a prayer with us and you can just tell he wants to know. It was the most sincere prayer ive heard an investigator give. Watching people make those steps to know the church is True is awesomre to watch. To know that we have this message to the whole world thaat will literally help everyone too is awesome. Being a missionary is the Best thing ever! These two guys I talked about really do make everything worth it. Its great. Thats all that really happened this week, nothing too special.


For P-day today, ill be going over to the manchester ward and playing some soccer with the missionaries there, Thats about it! Love you guys! Hope you have a good one! Remember "take it easy" tchau tchau! Ate Mais.
