Good Morning!

How is everyone! Sounds like your 4th of July was a blast! Mine was too, but ill tell you that little bit later! Thats awesome that you guys hosted a YSA activity! That sounds super fun, sounds like you guys are having the time of your lives! You guys are punks haha. What else happened with you guys? Just the same old, work, and fun? Thats sounds good to me haha.

Anyway, The week has been quite the week. Many things happened. Lets start from the beggining. P-day last week was a lot of fun, we went to Morro Do Cristo whicj is the big attraction here in Juiz De Fora, then we went to McDonalds!! Unreal. I bought a little mcdouble thing with a small fry and a shake. It ended up being 20 Reais.. what is this.. its dumb, but it was really good. Tasted like America, something I havent tasted in a while haha. After that we went shirt shopping for soccer jerseys in the center of the city. I'm sorry Harry but my team is Flamengo.. I just cant help it haha they are the most sick team ever haha. Rivals with Sao Paulo. I bought one of their jerseys. Thats really all we did p-day haha, we never really get much time for p-day because of all the things president wants us to do before it starts. Its all good though.

During the Week, ah. 4th of July. When I woke at 6:30 i played really loud all the american music I have on my ipod. Elder Libby and I were going nuts dancing and singing American Music haha It was awesome, That day we really ended up doing nothing, in the Morning we had interviews with President in the Office, it went really well. I love President, he is so awesome. I love just sitting there and talking with him. It was awesome, then after that we had aservice Project at a members home where we had to clear all this thorn bushing and brush out from here hill so we could get some root that peopleeat here, I know the name but its hard to write haha. It tastes pretty good, people fry them up and eat them. Then after that we had the Brazil verse Colombia game that played. We had to stay in our house the whole time for about 4 hours because everyone was going nuts in the street. Everyone had fireworks and stuff so its like we had our own firework show outside my window.. We were going nuts.. It was a pretty fun time. All the Brazilians kept saying "Shut up, you guys are so annoying!" Then we'd go over there and start dancing in front of them to make them more mad. That was my 4th of July!

This week was pretty cool though, we marked a lot of Dates with people this week, we have two baptisms this coming sunday and a couple after too, im pretty stoked. It should be awesome. I love my investigators! Sometimes its hard when they dont do what we asked them but when they do, its so awesome. I've been trying to work hard here the past week, its all I ever want to do. I hate walking slow, or sitting around not doing anything. I just want to talk with people and fulfill my purpose. Its been kinda a difficult week for my companion for many reasons, its been a tough week to get going and working. We are still rolling along though, wont let anything get in the way of me and working! Just got to keep helping the best I can, and Lead by example.

Yesterday was such a cool day, it marks the one year anneversary.. sorry im really forgetting how to spell words in english.. sorry if I look like a dummy.. Anyway, so all the missioanries in the Juiz De Fora stake and the whole stake too met in the Stake center and had a big meeting. President spoke, Sister Cacardi spoke, a lot of presentations were givin it was just awesome. Then at the end all the missionaries sung the mission song, it was legit. The Mission is so new! So many things are still in the works here, many things are ebing introduced to the missionaries. Its really cool to be apart of this creation process. Its been pretty cool. It was so much fun last week, hearing people give talks and ways every member can be missionaries too. It was truly a remarkable experience. The President asked all the members to give us missionaaries and the mission a present. We handed out slips and book of mormons for every person there roughly about three hundred people. We asked every person to write a reference there on the sheet and there testimony in the cover of the book of mormon and hand it back to us so we can go and visit that person. Thats roughly three hundred references alast night for the missionaries in the Juiz De Fora Stake. Its crazy. Thats 300 people that will have the chance to change there life forever. This is our purpose, im not just the missionary here, but you all are too. Sharing the gospel is our calling and duty, the smiles I see when people accept and hear the gospel is amazing, its the best feeling ever. Thats why \I love this work, its meant for everysingle person, and anyone can do it! Just got to open that mouth. Study Preach my Gospel and the scriptures, The Best books I have ever read in my life. Vamos! I love you guys, thats all I really have for today.. Hope you all are doing well.

Hope to hear from you soon!
Love, Elder Kenning
