Spiritual thought

in Elder Bednars talk he answered questions we had asked him. One of them was "why do good people go through bad things?" He replied that it is because God trusts them, that they are able to be alright during hard times because the Lord knows each and everyone of us. He quoted in D&C 122:5-8 about Joseph Smith in Liberty Jail, and gave examples of Jesus Christ, and Spencer W. Kimball in his battle with throat Cancer. so grateful for that message!
