Merry Christmas!

Dear Family,
Merry Christmas! I can't believe Christmas is in just a couple days. I'm emailing today because our mission president said to, probably because the library will be closed on Monday. We are excited. We are having a Christmas Brunch at the Sanders family (members of the ward) at 10am(my time). After we eat we will use their skype around 11am-1pm(my time, which is around 2-4pm your time). I will call Dad's cell phone beforehand to let you know when exactly.

I got some wonderful letters from members of the ward and the Jacobson's and other friends. Harry and Kendra sent out a great package too. The fruit snacks were good, I already ate them, I got the package this morning :). In the Mission we had a Christmas devotional Thursday. It was very fun, we watched a great movie too, we watch the movie "Tangled", ya know, about Rapunzel. Its funny, I've never seen it before. After a couple of talks by the mission presidency, we had an awesome Asian lunch. Every missionary received a gift, we all got a California Anaheim Mission metal pin and bookmark, its with the new mission logo, I will take a picture of it and send it.

My companion, elder pafford, totally ate it on the bike yesterday, it was so funny. Last night we were riding and he had his hands in his pockets, riding with no hands. As he was taking it them out, he hit his handle bars and swurved sharply, he recovered and he put his foot on the ground and trip him over and he landed right on the street. He cut is elbow and bled down his white shirt. He got up and headed to the family we wanted to visit. They weren't going to let us in, then they ask if there was anything that they can do for us, we asked about helping with his elbow, we got in and eventually had a prayer. This is twice, that from elder pafford's wounds we get into a house. Couple weeks ago, he cut his finger and bled down his hand and we were able to get in. Its funny, maybe the only way for us to get into a house is that he is physically hurt?

Spiritual Thought:
We've been able to get in to peoples home and bringing the spirit of Christmas. We read out of Luke 1 and 2, also 2nephi 25:12-13. We ask the question, "If you were living during the time that Christ was born, what gift would you give him?" and also, "What gift would you give him now?". Two inspired questions that causes you to search in the soul. These you can ask for yourself. Your testimony of Jesus Christ is a way to display your love towards God. We learn more of God when we pray to seek inspiration. He shows his love always. We show God that we love him by serving our family and others, by giving of our time and talents.
