A few short emails...
Sorry I haven't posted any of Elder Kenning's emails in the past month. The truth is, his emails are getting shorter and shorter. I know this is because he is more focused on his mission. He sends many pictures and I should be posting them soon. Most of them are with members. He looks so happy!
Thank you to all of you for your support. Elder Kenning's birthday is June 26. He'd love to hear from you if you get a chance to write.

hey, hows it going?
Things are going well out here. To sum up the week, we have a new investigator and he is a tattoo artist and wicked awesome. We ate pizza with a muslim family. Then we went to a Interfaith Council, knowing nothing of what we should do beforehand, we all thought that we were on a board and discuss religion. Thats not what happened, We helped serve food and drinks for those who are listening to the program. Peter Vidmar, a Olympic Gold medalist, spoke and we got pictures with him. Church was great, another good day in elders quorum, we get snacks mostly every week.

Dear Family,
So I got Transferred. I'm now in the City of Brea. In the Brea 1st Ward. This area is nice, I met a member who feeds the whole zone breakfast on every other Preparation Day.
My old ward was really awesome, they gave me the opportunity to bear my testimony in Priesthood session. I feel like I have built a strong relationship there. They got pictures with me and some gave me some cool gifts. Another family said that I had to come back so he can whip out the Surfboards and go surfing. Another is going to come up here and take me out to lunch. I'm going to miss them, for now.
My new Companion is Elder Walker and he is from Rexburg, Idaho, surprise, I can't get rid of Idaho. He's great, he has a strong commitment to working hard and running in the morning which is what I need, he is the District Leader. Super excited tool.
I have lots of pictures but I forgot my camera, so I'll get them to ya next week.
Thanks for getting the package sent, I now don't get mail till Wednesday. just so you know.
Mom those are some crazy ideas you shared with me in your last letter. I'm not yet there. And you better crack down on Grant. Crack that whip on him.

Family,
Brea is a pretty cool place, yet it is much hotter up here, and my boundries are small, i'm next to the smallest area in the world, in the smallest mission. I have downtown brea in my area, there is this place called Farrell's which looks really good. In the ward is a lot of older people, but its fun. My comp. Elder Walker from Rexburg Idaho, he's a pretty unique guy. He's just that typicall idahoan. I hope I stay junior companion for a long time, so I don't have to worry about anything, just teach, preach and baptize.
In my new area I have a Trader Joes, Target, Walmart, Buffalo Wild wings, a Mall, and lots of places to eat out. Members here, my comp said, take us out to eat. The Ward though from the first time I've been there, is not as fun as my last ward in Orange. I still love it all though.
Some pics of me and some familys were in my last ward. Thanks for the package you sent. All is good. And thanks for the SD card, i was hoping to get the debit card, but maybe you forgot to put it in.
