It has been a great week for finding for Elder Roberts and I, we found a couple yesterday who we had a really good feeling about. and Our most progressing Investigator is super awesome, we extended the invite to be baptized, but he declined, We need to clarify the authority of the Priesthood with him and give a good enviroment for the spirit to teach him and so he can have a testimony of the Book of Mormon.
We have been doing a lot of exchanges with our leaders lately, all in one week, it slowed down our work but all is good. The members here in Santiago Creek are super awesome, I absolutely love them. The Bishop is very missionary oriented with everything he does, so because of that, the whole ward is. And so we have a lot of support.
My Preperation day is today, wednesday, because the temple trip is today, we all get to go to the Newport Beach temple and do some work. So we email today.
I bet you guys are really busy with the wedding and everything, man thats crazy stuff. And thats cool that Mere extended her mission! she must like it over there. Man get Juice man on a Mission, this will be so cool for him.
I'm really excited for General Conference, being my first General Conference on my mission. President Interviews are friday, i'm glad I get to talk with him, he is a great president.
Spiritual Thought: Alma 46:15. "And those who did belong to the church were faithful; yea, all those who were true believers in Christ took upon them, gladly, the name of Christ, or Christians as they were called, because of their belief in Christ who should come." What is in a name? What importance does name Jesus Christ give for the people of this world? We relate that name with miracles, love, good works, charity, patience, faithful and more, we are members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, With that name we associate ourselves with the works of Christ and his name, we take his name and covenant with him at baptism and sacrement. Our own personal name is important too, we cannot dimish our name. We as a family are a light to the world, the light that we hold up is Christ, we must hold it up and live the commandments and follow Jesus Christ. Amen.
