Last zone conference on the mission....

Watch out ´´the ladies´´ Granty just turned 16 and is ready for you all!

How is everyone doing?

Things have been going great around here in Brasil! Happy Birthday Grant! You are getting so old now! You are 16 years old, I can´t believe it! You are getting really old.....I sure hope you have a great birthday today! We´ll have a real birthday party for you when everyone is at home in April. Then the party will begin...

So yeah, things have crazy busy around here. Last week we had zone conference, and it happened to be my very last zone conference on the mission.... I can´t believe it, time is flying by so fast. But we have been having a good time around here doing those things that missionaries do. Teaching, preaching, and working as missionaries do! Mission life is so awesome! Hopefully this week we will have a long awaited baptism. Hopefully Elisangela will be baptized, we have been working really hard with her, and have been having FHE with her and the Bishop. My bishop here is really good, he is a hard worker, and now wants to help us out a lot. We planned her baptism for Saturday night, and she will be interviewed tonight. So, cross your fingers, and pray! But she is very intelligent woman, that is why it has been so hard to get her baptized. She needs to have an answer for everything, and sometimes you can´t do that, you need to have faith, and trust in the Lord that he will take care of you. Last Tuesday we watched together forever ( yes I did point out dad to everyone.... :P ) and the lesson was very spiritual. She cried, actually everyone just about cried. She cried because she has always wanted to have an eternal family, her mom had passed away, and she never was baptized or anything. So the video really touched her. Right after I took advantage of the moment and invited her to be baptized. And SHE ACCEPTED!!!! When I get home I will have to you guys how we decided to do this lesson, it is quite inspiring, but this isn´t the time or place.... Hahaha, talk about a cliff hanger....

Anyways, I will run the 10k with you mom. I know that it means to you a lot, and it would be my pleasure to run with you.
So yeah, fall semester I want to stay out there, and go out to BYU in January. I figured that way I can work a little bit more, and also make it easier for me to get accepted into BYU Provo.

Jake I am so proud of you for starting your mission papers! The mission is incredibly sweet! Who knows maybe you will get sent out here to Brazil, and we will be able to talk in Portuguese to each other, and mom and dad won´t even know what we are saying.,

So yeah well I need to get going! I love you guys so much!
Everything that we do as members of the church is completely true! The church is true! The book of mormon is true! Let´s do some missionary work today! Let´s talk to our friend about the blessings of having an eternal family! Let´s invite them to church, or a FHE at our houses! Shall we not go on in such a great of cause!

Love,
Elder Harry Kenning
