Feliz Ano Novo!

Christmas Day was awesome. We were able to Skype with Harry for the first time. I mean, it was not only our first time skyping with Harry, but my first time ever using this amazing technology. Not only were we able to talk to Harry, we could see him too! We had a great visit for about an hour. It was one of the best Christmas gifts a mom could ask for. So...since we spoke for so long, his email this week was short.

The one thing I was a little sad about is that he never received any of the packages I mailed to him for Christmas. I sent them early too! Mail to Brazil is so unpredictable.

Anyway...here is his short email..

Hey Everybody!

Well there is nothing much to say, because we just talked to each other last Saturday. I can´t believe it that my last christmas has already gone by on the mission, and the last time I will call home....

But anyways things are going well here with my comp and I. We have been working really hard to get this area up and going. I think that this is one of the hardest challenges that I have had on the mission so far. Opening up a rich and ginormous area, training a new american who doesn´t know anything. It will be good. I am liking him a lot, he is a great guy, and is already improving a ton. Now I just need to baptize a lot. It is interesting, I got the one and only american that came to our mission this transfer.

But things are going really well, I haven´t been losing a lot of weight, I am healthy, and absolutely loving the mission. It is the best thing ever. I wanted to say on phone call my testimony to you guys, so at east I will write it. I don´t have a whole lot to give for Christmas, but I do know for a surety that this is the Lord´s work, and he is guiding us every single day. We are being His hands here in the field. I am so grateful for Him, and I know that He lives!

I love you guys so much!

Love,
Elder Kenning
