Haha, gotcha! And you thought I wouldn´t write...
Hey everybody!
Yes I know today is thursday, and p-day´s are on tuesdays. But I got transfered and it took a really long time. I have some good news, and some bad news about transfers, it all depends on your vision...
Well really it is all good news, maybe bad news for dad.... Alright I am in Sao Paulo right now, deep in the city. It is really awesome here, and everyone is running around from work, so the work is a little hard here. The best way to find new investigators is through member referrals, so we are going to do a lot of FHE. But the sad part is that I have very little time to work. I only work after 6 o´clock everyday, and on the weekends. Do you want to know why? Because I got transfered to the office. Yeah I know, I was really sad to hear it at first too, rather disapointed. There are only 4 office elders, and President only puts the ones that he trust the most, that are really self motivated, and hard working. Working in the office is great privledge here in our mission. I know if you worked in the office you were less valiant in the pre-mortal world. This myth only exists for the office elders in the USA, but here in Brazil it is really crazy. I probably will be here for the next 6 months. This is where the Lord wants me to be, and so I will have to take the ball and run with it. You don´t have to like it, you just have to do it.
So Christmas is coming, and it is looking like I won´t be able to use Skype, and if I would be able to, I wouldn´t be able to use a webcam. So what you you guys need to do, is send me Grandma and Granpa´s number, and I will call Christmas Eve to verify the time on Christmas. But before Christmas you need to send Grandma and Granpa´s number through email! I have no idea what it is. And on Christmas you guys will call me. Alright? I am so excited to talk with all of you. My Pday will be Christmas, so this tuesday you won´t be getting an email.
Dad, that study plan looks awesome, do you want to do it together starting the first week of January? I will, it looks sweet. Also I will look over the Ward theme for 2010, I really like the theme of obedience, I sure hope all will go great this year, and that every year things can progress.
Alright I got to go. Until Christmas!
Love,
Elder Kenning

Spiritual Thought:
I have been studying a talk by President Monson called Decisions Determine Destiny. http://lds.org/library/display/0,4945,538-1-3310-1,00.html To help us with the decisions that we make he has given us three suggestions.
Choose your friends with caution.
Plan your future with purpose.
Frame your life with faith.
We all have a wonderful gift here on this earth, and our test is how we will use it. Each decison we make will have an outcome. We can choose our outcome, Eternal life, if we follow the Lord´s example. Following these three guidelines will help make the harder decisions easier.
