well... I'm guess I'm 20 right?
Doesn't even feel like it was my birthday.. I woke up yesterday and didnt even remember, i only remember when my phone reminder went off and told me haha. But still it wasnt that excited to me haha. Yesterday was sunday and for that I had so much other things to think about. Like how I could get my investigators to church. That kept me pretty occupied thats for sure.
It has been quite the week thats for sure.. Holy smokes its like ive been running around with my head cut off.. trying to take care of a district and a really really weak branch.. So my district is huge, it has two big cities. Far away from each other. So when I have to do interviews for baptisms its a 2 hour bus ride.. which is a lot of money.. But its all cool. I just have a ton of responsibility here its a project thats for sure. The branch is really tiny its gotten super weak.. (just between you and me) its a branch on the edge of being shut down.. because of the bad history that has been thorugh here.. so im here to clean it up and keep this place on its feet. Its not even a stake or district here,, its a district of the mission Juiz de Fora.. Its crazy.
Yesterday we had a attendance of 29 people, so from know on out it will start climbing up. We have some things going into action, we are getting everyone really excited. I planned a macarony contest in the branch and everyone is going nuts they cant wait, we will see who has the best macarone, we are working really ahrd with the branch president with that. Everyone in the branch and in my district seems really dead.. so its all about getting the fire going again.. so im stoked. Im stoked to change this area into the best area! So dad you asked some good questions about my area, so its pretty interesting before here I was in Alfenas the best area by far in the whole mission, and then im here which isnt that. Its a work in Progress. There is the complete opposite of here. Its really complicated.. we have support of the members but we dont really have members.. so its all a rock rolling down a hill type thing.. there are a lot but nothing too important to be said. Im truly grateful for the opportunity to serve in the area.. im learning so much, I know the area will change me and I hope to do the same to the area. Ill be honest i feel pretty dead bercause im so tired, but some how i just keep on going.. the lord is truly blessing me here in the work. Without him i dont even know what would even happen. Im grateful for your support and your prayers its so nice to see that you guys are being blessed because of this work.
For my birthday this is the schedule.
Wake up, get investigators for church, go to church, teach the young mens, and gospel principles, and then give a talk. Go to lunch on top of a mountain haha, go visit some people, go to corelation meeting with the branch and then do contacts in the center for the lst 30 minutes. Have a conference with the zone leader, get ready for bed, and sleep. That was my birthday! there isnt any other way better to spend my birthday then in the service of the lord. Cant believe it is my last birthday in the mission, im getting really old. I dont really like it.. well. That was my week, Love you guys so much! Thanks for everything. Mom how much is in my account,, im in need of pants.. can a get one pair of pants? Thats all should need, I dont need anything else.
