Didn't get transferred. Same area and same companion. But many things happened and I dont have a whole lot of time. But I will do my best to type extra fast.
On Saturday went to 3 baptisms and help supervise in "Relay for Life: american cancer foundation". Starting with the relay for life. A member who is from Arizona was planning on taking his team and participating in the relay and needed help to set up the whole event. By Direction of the President Bowen he asked if my comp and I organize our zone to help set up and help with it from 6am to 7pm. We went from 6am-11am then rushed over to our apartment, showered, then went to the church building on valley view rd to set up for the baptism we were having. The baptism went very well, Anthony shared his testimony after he was baptized. After his baptism we rushed over to another baptism of a guy named Juan, who I interviewed for baptism. His went very well afterwards too. Then After we went to another baptism in the Orange Hills YSA ward. I was notified on Wednesday that this girl Maddy who has a laugh that everyone knows, was getting baptized. We go way back a year and a half ago when I first met her. Last minute they asked me to play the piano and these songs were picked by maddy. I didn't know how to play them, even know how the tune went. I was the only one...so guess what happened...I wrecked it on the piano. The closing song we just cut it after the first verse. to make it even better, President Bowen was there to watch. Pretty embarrassing. But overall it was good.
The next day was a day full of confirmations. Anthony was baptized and confirmed by to guys who are going on there mission next month, Noe and Luke. I was asked to give the closing prayer in the sacrament meeting. Well after the second to last hymn I was kind of dozing off. And after the hymn was finished I thought it was time to say the prayer. So I got up and started to walk up on the stand. Right before the stand I recognized what I was doing and sat down on the front row. The bishopric saw what I was doing and thought that I got up to say something to them and once they noticed I sat down and laughed at myself they noticed what I had done and they started to laugh. It was funny, only half the congregation saw what I did. Now its the big joke. Its funny stuff. But later that day I was able to confirm maddy to the church in the ysa ward also. It was very good to connect with the members. It felt like my home ward :) So a super busy weekend. We were back to back with things to do. And many more good things.
I'm excited for you moving to philly. I hope things go well this week in the family.
