earthquake...
So things are going great.
There was an Earthquake last Monday, 3.7. We indeed felt it. But not a lot. The locals tell us that earthquake season is May,June and July for the extreme heat and rain. They say when it rains a lot during this time of year an earthquake is bound to happen. And so I'm excited to experience a major earthquake, our mission president has prepared us with equipment to help people in a earthquake. And additionally Orange Stake is thee most prepared stake in Southern California for any disaster, Many members in my ward alone have several HAM radios and every week they review the plan in case of such situation.
Last Saturday was Mormon Helping hands and our whole stake participated in fixing up a "old town orange" park in Santa Ana by Westminster. We spread mulch throughout some of the orange tree groves and painting and refinishing some of the houses there. It was super fun, lots of good snacks too. I posted a few pictures.
So We had a Make or Break lesson with one of our investigators. It went break. It was a rough lesson, because of several things like, he engrossed himself with anti-mormon literature which lead to him having zero faith, was not receptive to our message and was more worried in making his point. At one point he himself had a testimony of the Book of Mormon. Its hard to see this, just because we knew he felt the spirit and now he is choosing not to.
So I'm guaranteed till the end of May, May 29 to be exact. I hope I can stay in the area, I'm really connecting with the members in this Ward.
You guys got to send some pictures of the Kims gnarly bike and Dads Souped up car.
Whats Harrison up too? I bet Grant thought about wearing his tux to school. And is K-ball going to be a bmx star?
I'm still with Elder Roberts and things are going good.
I haven't had a package from my family in long time. I know you've been busy, 'and what not'. But I can still use some love-ins.
A Scripture: 2Nephi 10:23 "Therefore, cheer up your hearts, and remember that ye are free to act for yourselves-- to choose the way of everlasting death or the way of eternal life." We will always have the choice to act for ourselves, this gift given to us from God is key to our eternal progression and key to the exercising of our faith.

P.S. My birthday is coming up pretty soon, I have some things I'm thinking about.
