What's up fella's? I am most pleased to write you on this very warm, dry, sunny, crisp clear day.
This saturday is our next baptsim, the 14th. This guy is super awesome, just literally an hour ago he took us to this "New York" deli that was super good and he fed us. He is golden. He is so excited to be baptised he went and made dog tags for us that say "11412" (his baptismal date).
The next transfer is coming very soon, less than two weeks from now, its on jan 22. And I have a Presidents interview this friday, which i'm excited for, I like talking with my mission president. He is from Idaho and has been a mission president for only like 7 months now but his spirit is very strong along with his faith.
Good times eh?
Dad and grant sounds like skiing is more fun than I thought it was? Dad you are already a pro anyways, maybe when i get back, If you are not in costa rica, i should try it out? eh?

2 Nephi 2:14-16
" And now, my sons, I speak unot you these things for your profit and learning; for there is a God, and he hath created all things, both the heavens and the earth, and all the things that in them are, both things to act and things
to be acted upon. And to bring about his eternal purposes in the end of man, after he had created our first parents, and the beasts of the field and the fowls of the air, and in fine, all things which are created, it must needs be that there was an opposition; even the forbidden fruit in opposition to the tree of life' the one being sweet and the other bitter. Wherefore, the Lord God gave unto man that he should act for himself. Wherefore, man could not act for himself save it should be that he was enticed by the one or the other."
All things are given for our profit and learning. God has given us the gift of Agency, the ability to choose for ourselves. Our faith is always tried (Ether 12: 6). Things given to us are to be acted upon and things that can build our faith is good, and faith is really powerful, legitimately. Faith is action, faith without works is dead and we will not gain a witness until after the trial of our faith. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
