Waiting for Jacob's Call
It's been a crazy month trying to get everything done and sent in for Jake's mission. It has been really nice having the Bishop in our home as he can see the progression of the mission papers move from one step to the next. For example, he can see when it is under review by the Stake President, then we could see that the papers were at Church headquarters, and then we saw when his status was 'Ready for Assignment'. It is all very exciting!
Last Friday was also very exciting because his status was updated to 'Call Letter Sent July 1st, 2011.
So here we now are on July 6th and we are expected to see that big white envelope in the mail at any moment. It is very exciting wondering where Jacob will spend the next two years of his life as he serves his mission for our church.
