16 days...

Well, you would think after all of the wonderful messages of general conference, that this week would have a spiritually filled message, wouldn't you? :) Yet, I am still thankful. Short and sweet is fine by me, as I get to see him in only 16 days! Wow, two years gone by. I can hardly stand the excitement. I thought I would start Elder Kenning's scrapbook the week he left on his mission... But then I thought, I've got two years so I can start anytime. Then when we got down to two months, I thought again to myself, I really need to get started on that! Wow, here I am two weeks away and haven't begun. Yep, this is what I get for procrastinating. ha ha

In case you are wondering, our second oldest Jacob started his mission paperwork. We are so excited. He won't be able to finish it until he gets home and does all of his dental stuff. But as soon as everything is finished and sent out to SLC, we will have to start another guessing game like we did with Harry to see where Jake will go. I am going to keep this blog open for all my boys. It has the perfect name: elderkenning.blogspot.com It will work for them all!

This summer promises to be wonderful. To have all my boys home at one time is truly something to be thankful for.

Here is this week's email:

Molly, I can't believe it - in 2 weeks Harry will be home! I love your idea of keeping the blog for all the Kenning Missionaries! What a treasure this will be. Maybe you should start Jake's scrapbook now?? I know about the procrastination - that is me all the way! Thanks for the updates!

Molly, I have heard that you can print your blogs. That would be a great scrapbook. I think Shannon Bryant said she was going to print her blog once, she would probably know how to do it. I want to print Kason's when he is done. I am so excited for your and your family to all be together. We are excited for Jake...keeping our fingers crossed for Russia.
