Hey everybody!
How is everyone doing? Things are going great here. We have teaching like crazy and really applying this new program of teaching. This program isn´t anything different it is just perfecting the ways of Preach My Gospel.
I can´t believe how fast time is flying by. Mission life is so awesome! Already in two weeks there will be transfers. And I think I will be transferred. It is incredible how happy and tired I am. It is an incredible feeling to get home at night, be incredibly tired beaten to the ground but feel like you did something to help the Lord´s kingdom. The Lord has really been blessing us. We are finding a lot of new people that are willing to keep the commitments.
Today we went to the temple as a mission. My second time this month! I am getting really good at the temple, memorizing and understanding more of what is going on. It is a long trip to get there from where I am. We had to get a train, then a bus, then the subway, then another bus.
No mom I don´t need any money. I am doing fine here. It´s better that I don´t have to much money or I would use my time in other things rather than preaching the gospel.
Dad just to let you know. I will be expecting a church calling the first Sunday that I get home. It could be whatever you want. But I will need to help out the ward. I could do anything from being a teacher, the ML, or even directing the music again. Whatever it is, there needs to be one, or two, or three.
I will pray extra hard for you guys don´t worry the Lord will take us through it. It´s just like the story of the Brother of Jared when they crossed the ocean. The Lord sent winds and waves to help push his family to the promised land. And that is where we are going!
Let´s see here mission stories. Alright a recent one. Last Wednesday we were knocking doors. It was really hot and humid but we were felt prompted to knock a road. Holy Cow was it hot.... Every house we knocked no one was home, or it was a really lazy person. My comp got discouraged and wanted to try another road. I was like alright, we were guided to this road for a reason, lets choose one more house to knock. But lets use the spirit to know which one to knock. We walking along trying to find the elect. It looked as if we were trying to hunt someone. And we saw the house we wanted. We knocked it. And a lady came out. You guys are the Mormons aren´t you? We always say no, we are from the Church of Jesus Christ. She didn´t get it, and said I know you guys and your church. When she came down to talk to us we found out that she has a lot of friends who are really strong in the church that she grew up with. We taught her the first lesson and invited her to pray that night. On Saturday when we returned she had received an answer!!!! ELECT!!!!
Well I am out of time. I love you all so much! The church is true!
