Mission life is awesome!
Hey everybody!
How is everyone doing in good old Maine?
Mission life is awesome! It is full of difficulties but full of great rewards. The Lord is starting bless us with fruits of our labors. I feel like our prayers are being answered! This week we will have a baptism of Monalisa, and the week after if everything goes right we will have six baptisms! Our investigators are going well, they are progressing pretty well. My area is huge, there are so many people here to talk to. This past week we have started up Bus contacts. We take buses to go everywhere, so every bus ride one of us gets up in the front holds up a book of Mormon, and started yelling at everyone. We tell them we are the missionaries and we are giving out a book for free about Jesus Christ that helps families have more happiness. Then we go one by one, and ask would you like a copy? Every time we do one of these contacts there is always a lady who starts yelling at us, to tell us to sit down, and shut up. But we ignore them and continue talking. Can you imagine me in front of an angry city bus talking to everyone? Yeah, I know, I am just like Dan Jones of the twenty first century.
Anyways... Dad I am still ZL 2. I am not senior yet. I have been learning a lot from my companion, and he has taught me a lot of good techniques. Our zone is improving a lot. I have attached a graph our zone to show our progress as a zone. We are turning a zone that hardly ever baptized into a zone that will be the best in the mission!
Mom you asked if I was needing anything, and yes I do need few things. Please... I will need some new socks( all of my socks have holes) and my comp wants some crew neck garments. They don´t have the crew-neck style down here, and he would like 3 or 4 tops, he uses the size medium. And lots of treats!!! Mom if you could send me those things I would love you so much! Send some more pictures too with the package so I can update my photo album!
Anyways just the same old baptizing madness down here in Brasil. Thanks so much for all the prayers and thoughts! I love you guys so much and miss you too!!!
