Received two packages this week - 1 from RS/1 from YW

Hey Everybody!!!

How is y´all doin out in the boonies of Maine. My comp keeps on making fun of me that I am from Saco. Remember how I explained what it means a few emails ago? He doesn´t let one investigator not know that I am from Saco. He´s nuts. And he claims that Idaho potatos are better that Maine´s. I beg to differ.

Anyways so about this week. Nothing to crazy has happened. The office has been incredibly busy, getting ready for all the zone conferences that we had. But it was all really good and spiritual. President is asking what kind of missionaries should we be? He compared that there are three different kinds of missionaries, celestial, terrestial, and telestial. It was a really good talk that he gave, he got a lot of good scriptures that he used to apply. He changed some of the words in them to say ´´missionaries´´.

Also he made some new rules for our mission. We have been having a problem with slacker missionaries, and in order to help our mission he has made the following rules: 1. We are not allowed to go the mall anymore. and 2. we are not allowed on P-days to be in a group bigger than four missionaries. The rules kind of stink, but I can see their purpose. It´s not like I didn´t do much of that anyways.

This past week I have had a little bit of the cold. The weather is returning back to winter, and I have been feeling really cold. But I have been doing alright, eating fine, no I don´t have a tapeworm. But I think I have been staying at the same weight. You know the office isn´t too physically strenuous.

For my English class I have been givning spiritual messages. Actually my whole plot has been teaching about the Restoration and the Book of Mormon. Last Saturday I handed out as a ´´present´´ to everyone a free copy of the book of mormon with our family´s testimony. Everyone loved it and was thrilled to recieve such a present. I attached what I did, it´s in Portugeuse, if you guys would like I can do it in English for the elders way out there. I am so grateful for being born in the church, and having at hand all the blessings that the Gospel has to offer. It´s interesting to stop, think and ask. Where would I be without the church? I know that I would not have the same family, and the happiness that I have now. The Church is true!

I will have my mission president for the whole time I am on my mission. He leaves his mission one month after I do.

By the way I did recieve two packages, one from the Young Women, and one from the Relief Society.
I know that I told you guys to put pictures of Jesus Christ ont he package, but holy cow mr. overboard. I know the purpose of it is so that people will feel bad if they were to cut into Jesus Christ. But please, it´s just as bad for me. And with the Relief Society package I had to cut into his face 8 or 9 times!!!

Well I need to get going. I love you all so much!!!! BE GOOD!!! Be kind to your knees!!!!

Laugh, Live, Love,
-Elder Kenning
