Jake's first email to his Dad
Jake has had a great first week in the mtc. He actually wrote to all of us individually through email and then we also received two hand written letters the first week. He was told to write home immediately and he did! He is so happy!! That makes me happy as his mom. Yay!
YO Daddio! Everything is super uber good. Im so tired and so excited and the food just keeps coming. I gained 10 pounds on day 5, but dont worry i started excercising again. So many missionaries and Sister missionaries too, teachers are great, i just feel awesome. So if you want to know about my Companions i have two of them. so i'm part of a three companionship. Elder Hinkley is one (John kennings friend) and Elder Bottorff. I briefly explained about them in my letter (the second one i sent yesterday i think. or the day before) but Elder Bottorff is senior and Elder Hinkley and I are juniors. My district leader is sweet too.
Yes they still have the cereal dispensers, but i'm eating non stop so i got to take it easy haha. The schedule is non stop, its so dense the first three days that honestly it felt like a week and literally on Saturday i honestly couldn't figure out if i was eating lunch or dinner!
Thank you so much for getting me out here!! Yesterday Richard G. Scott came and gave a devotional it was super cool. I got that he was talking about "Capturing the Spirit" and writing any impressions that come at any time. He let missionaries answer questions. Elder Scott also gave us a blessing, it was really neat.
Yes Tell me where Romney is Going!! I'm pumped to hear where he is going. P-day is Today Wednesday. I loved the fruit snacks, nutella and treats you sent me!! haha I ate it all practically in a day. I love you dad.
